What you'll own

  • The project portfolio end to end — timelines, deliverables, quality and follow-through
  • Research management: study design, data collection, analysis and reporting alongside our experts and field teams
  • Stakeholder and client communication — the reliable point of contact who never drops a thread
  • Data analysis and reporting, including MIS setup and upkeep
  • Keeping the whole engine moving without being chased

What you must bring

  • Strong project and research management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and written / verbal communication
  • Strong data analysis skills; genuinely proficient in Excel — not "I can make a table" proficient
  • Working knowledge of MIS
  • The ability to run your own work without being followed up with

Field planning & team supervision

  • Plan and schedule Anganwadi / PSU visit clusters — typically two PSUs per field day
  • Supervise two Field Investigators and local facilitators; allocate daily tasks and resolve field-level issues
  • Prepare mobilisation kits: beneficiary lists, Marathi consent forms, replacement lists
  • Ensure daily plans and district-level quotas are met on schedule

Government, ICDS & community coordination

  • District liaison with the District Health Officer, Block Medical Officers, CDPOs and ASHA supervisors
  • Engage ASHA workers, ANMs and Anganwadi Workers 5–7 days in advance to mobilise eligible children and caregivers
  • Coordinate use of Anganwadi premises without disrupting routine services
  • Support district- and block-level permissions

Data collection, quality & ethics

  • Oversee anthropometric measurement (weight, height/length, MUAC) to WHO protocols, plus image capture on the Marathi-enabled AIMM app
  • Administer and verify the IRB-approved consent process before any measurement or image
  • End-of-day review and back-checks of 5–10% of records; re-measure out-of-range entries
  • Comply with the IRB protocol, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and child-safeguarding standards
  • Monitor subgroup-quota fulfilment and oversee daily data upload

Qualifications & requirements

  • Graduate or postgraduate in public health, nutrition, social sciences, social work, statistics or life sciences
  • Minimum 1–2 years of field research or community-health experience, preferably including team supervision
  • Prior Anganwadi / ICDS or maternal & child health experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with KoBoToolbox, CommCare, ODK or similar app-based tools
  • District-based candidates preferred; Android smartphone and two-wheeler with valid licence an advantage
  • 2-day orientation and AIMM app training at FLAME University, Pune, before fieldwork
